Key Partners
- Zima Pizza: Our over-arching company, a subset of Penn State's Humanitarian Engineering and Social Entrepreneurship program. Zima Pizza will connect and develop partnerships with other key players, and be the main point of hiring both manager and vendor.
- Children and Youth Empowerment Center: The CYEC is Zima Pizza's connection to the community in Nyeri, Kenya. The CYEC will serve as our preparation kitchen and storage facility. The vendor hires maturing former street youth from the CYEC to man the kitchen and cart.
- Manager: A local businessperson who will visit the carts three times daily to ensure quality control and standardization. They are responsible for cash flow and money deposits.
- Vendor: A local businessperson who will man the cart on a daily business and prepare the food directly for consumers.
- Attendants: Four to five workers who will assist with food preparation and daily operation.
Marketing and Sales Plan
- Promotional Materials: Distributed by our cart attendants
- Tally Cards: Distributed by our cart attendants to bring in business (also their check for commission)
- Uniforms: Distributed to all employees on all carts to keep consistency
